Today I was asked about what type of quadrant scores I am getting with my phone. I’m not one to rely on the scores as a method of telling how fast a phone is because I’ve seen phones with high scores that still show lag, so I don’t put too much weight on them. I’m all about the visual test…how fast can you do back to back every day tasks. For example, going from the home screen -> opening the app drawer -> scrolling to your messaging app -> opening the messaging app -> finding a contact -> opening up the keyboard to type a message -> pressing the keys to compose the message -> then sending the message
…how fluid is that process?
Nevertheless, here are two results from the quadrant test I ran on my Nexus S 4G. The first is just from downloading the app, installing and then running the app. The second result is after I restarted my phone.
Note: I haven’t changed the processor speed with an app or anything. I’m rooted and am running Cyanogenmod 7.
