The Nexus 7 made it’s debut at Google I/O this past June and consumers were finally able to get their hands on it less than a month later. Of course we all know that tech reviewers get products before the official launch to help with marketing and to inform consumers about the product performance. Well, to many a surprise, it seems like some reviewers had trouble even getting the Nexus 7 out of the box. And by some, I mean a lot. It’s pretty bad when someone is able to make a video montage containing all of the trouble company representatives were having opening the packaging. Note to all tech reviewers: keep an Xacto knife handy during unboxing videos.
Now let’s see how I do. Hold on to your butts…(hope some people go that Jurassic part reference)
After getting my Nexus 7 out of the box it didn’t take me long to put a screen protector on it and keep it protected with a very fashionable case. Oh yeah, I rooted it too! I’ll show you how to do that in two weeks 🙂
Speaking of unboxings, how do you all feel about those? Are they pointless or do you actually get something from them?

Nice, can’t wait to see how it performs.
Yeah I bought it from the Play Store. Wanted to get my $25 haha.
That makes two of us haha.
I wasn’t really thinking about it but I won’t rule it out.
I can’t wait to get it
How much for you touchpad?
$279 since it’s the 32 GB model and comes with the case, screen protector already put on, 2 additional screen protectors and Android 4.0 (along with WebOS of course). Charging it up as I type this haha.
$279. If you want me to throw a certain Android ROM on there let me know too. Right now I have the latest version of AOKP on there too, which is one of the best ones out there. WebOS still works as well.
