Let Google’s Wallet Pay for Your Lunch Today

I know what you’re thinking.  How on Earth could Google possibly pay for my meal?  They don’t even know me (well actually they do, just think of how many Google searches you’ve done…but that’s beside the point).  The answer: Google Wallet

For those of us who are fortunate to have a Nexus S, Nexus S 4Gs, or Galaxy Nexus, we’ve been forunate enough to be able to make payments using just our phones via the NFC Chip.  As you’ve seen in my video , paying with your phone literally just takes a tap and you’ve instantly made a purchase.  Unforunately Google decided to “temporarily disabled the feature to add the Google Prepaid Card back to your wallet if you previously removed the card or reset your wallet.”  This rendered the Google Wallet feature useless for those people who had reset their wallet or left people stranded who had already added money to Wallet that was not inaccesble.

Thanksfully Google owned up to this mistake and decided to compensate people by crediting $5 to their Google Prepaid card.  If you’re one of those people then you should have received an e-mail.  If you haven’t receieved an email but would still like to make the attempt to retrieve the free $5, click the link below to download the most up to date version of Google Wallet.
