
Have you used Android Pay yet? I’ve tried using it, but the fact that it forces you to have a lock screen on turned me away from it. I’ll save my gripes about the app for another time…
However, Google’s new deal has changed my mind and it just might change yours too. Last month they gave first time users a free $20 Best Buy gift card. If you missed that deal, this time around Google is giving it’s users a free Chromecast! All you have to do is download the Android Pay app and use it 10 times before the end of February. In case you didn’t know, the Chromecast device enables you to cast apps (Youtube, Google Music, Spotify, Netflix, etc.) so that they can be viewed on your TV.
Not a bad deal for doing something you’re probably going to do anyway, right? If you’ve never used Android Pay before, it’ll take a day in order for the first transaction to register your credit card or bank account. After that you should be good to go. Get out there and spend that money! If you don’t want to spend too much, you could just go to McDonald’s ten separate times and buy one thing off of the $1 menu each time.
