We’ve all been there before, sitting at our cubicles or in class and someone’s text tone goes off that everyone can hear. Times turn even worse when the person isn’t at their desk and their phone is left their stranded to ring as much as it wants while everyone else tries to ignore it, but are really annoyed.
I understand that in the morning we’re all in a rush and sometimes we just may forget to turn our ringers down before we walk through the doors. Some may remember to do so, but will then forget to turn their sound back up until they’ve been home for several hours realizing why they’ve missed all of those texts and calls.
Thankfully, those days
should be are over thanks to an app called Timeriffic.
Timeriffic allows one to forget about the hassle of remembering to turn their volume up and down by enabling users to schedule times. For example, if you arrive at work at 8:00 am and leave at 5:00 am, you can schedule Timeriffic to:
- Turn your sound off at 8:00 am (or to put your phone in vibrate mode)
- Turn you sound back on at 12:00 pm while you’re out at lunch and then off again at 12:30 pm before you get back to the office
- Turn your sound back on at 5:00 pm when you leave work
- Turn your Wi-Fi on at 5:30 pm when you arrive back at home
