I’ve made previous videos showing what you can do with your HTC Hero if you decide to root it, along with the added benefits that rooting brings such as free wireless tethering. If after watching those videos you’re still not convinced that rooting your phone is the thing to do then I’m not sure of any other way to get you thinking about doing so other than to show you how to do it, step by step.
Yes, this is the video that many people have been hoping for (and one that I should have created quite some time ago), how to root your HTC Hero. I’ve taken great deal of time putting this together and it ended up being pretty thorough. It’s complete with where to go to get the files, what to do with them, what files to put on your SD card, which buttons to press on your phone, etc. I promise that rooting your Hero is easy and my video proves it. Watching this video will also save you from spending hours and hours finding a rooting guide and left alone to figure out how to get through the troublesome spots.
If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments section and I’ll answer them promptly. If this video has helped you in rooting your Hero, please leave a comment as well. That way other will be more confident in rooting their device, should they be somewhat hesitant. Enjoy!
